Morning

Arthur Showing in Florida. by Nathaniel Harrington

Hey guys!

It's been a long, busy day for me and I haven't been able to get to all of my images that I would like to put together for a little showing of Tropical Storm Arthur... But I did grab two for a pre-view. It's been a fun day! Mine started at 6am, when I did not want to get up, I did anyways, and it turned out to be a great decision! My day ended with an amazing surf sesh and beautiful sunset.

Well here's the two, more to come soon.

I was thinking about walking the beach for a little while to attempt some scenic barrel shots... But after I saw this little wave go through I was way to amped to stay out of the water any longer. It was go time. I figured I could just try to capture the scene from the water where I like it the most. :)

Today's description of Arthur's surf: Clean. It has been a solid, clean day.

Happy July! So amped to get summer swell! Can't wait to post the rest...

Surf SBI. by Nathaniel Harrington

Yesterday morning brought in some pretty clean surf conditions! Much needed this week.

I got out there with a few friends; Keith Mahon, Tom Fletcher, and John Buehrig. This is what we found.

Pelican's Surf.

Not too bad for a humpday.

I also got out this morning and found some un-surfable shorebreak. The colors were all there this morning. I'll post more of this later after I get a chance to go through them.

Hope you guys got some surf or a least relaxation!

Thanks for checkin in!

Early Surf & Dive. by Nathaniel Harrington

Winds: 0mph

Surf: 1-2ft

Sounds good to me!

Here's some shots from this mornings adventures! I found some fish including a school of Snook, a couple Nurse Sharks, Stingrays, and lots of reef fish. The visibility was still only a few feet, but that'll work for me. It's just good to be out there.

Morning Motion.

Another blury cave.

I love getting into the water early to watch the day begin!

Big Snook!

Here's a little nurse shark I found close to shore. This is the first Nurse Shark I have ever swam with! Really stoked to see her this morning!

And I saw this Nurse Shark's tail sticking out from under the ledge. I dove down to find that she was pretty big! I would say close to six feet or so.

Reef fish in the structure. /;

Soo Fun!

It's always good to see life on the reefs!

Thanks for checking the Blog and I hope you have a great weekend!

Glassy Perfection, Yet Again. by Nathaniel Harrington

GoooodMorning!!

Wow. I cannot tell you how stoked I am every time I wake up in the morning to go watch the sunrise while playing in the Ocean. 6am is the best thing ever when it looks like this.

Orange Sunrise over the Atlantic.

Orange Sunrise over the Atlantic.

I was blessed this morning with some of the glassiest barrels I've shot to date. I'm continually surprised at how fun the surf is here in Vero. Check out the slideshow below to see what I mean. :)

Thanks again for checking in to my blog! Hope you also had an awesome, Blessed day.

Sloppy Surf with good surfing and sloppy shots. by Nathaniel Harrington

Summed up the description on this post. Here are a few surf shots from the past week & weekend where I have seen some fairly good surf and some pretty sloppy surf. I shot with a few guys who surf really well, and I have managed to ruin a lot of perfectly good moments...

Here's a few moments I wish turned out better... but, oh well. There's always more to learn and get better at in surf photography! I'm just glad that I have friends who rip!

Keith found the funkiest wave we've ever seen. It jacked up just as he dropped in to give him this joy ride. The conditions were a little unusual this morning at Monster Hole. Well surfed Keith!

One that snuck by...

Keith checking out mini tubes at Monster Hole.

Those shots were from last friday morning. My first time shooting at Monster Hole. There was a heavy southerly wind bouncing me around everywhere and a lot of current moving all of us around. It was a trick to get any work at all done. Super thankful for the opportunity to swim out there though!

These shots are from a week ago... Surfed with Nate & Jim Gallagher at Sebastian Inlet. It was a lot of fun out there this morning but there really weren't to many waves for them to surf. Nate's first wave is the one shown below and it was the best wave of the session. Otherwise we were pretty much just bobbers waiting for sharks out there. :)

Tube! Nate Gallagher found the best  corner he could have found right here.

A little later a wave allowed for a quick bottom turn and he drove through the crashing lip. Well surfed.

Pastor Jim Gallagher found a couple fun corners on the inside.

It's been fun and we are blessed to have surf! Hope it keeps on coming in!

Thanks for checking in.
