Vero Beach Shorebreak, Post 2. by Nathaniel Harrington

Here is another MegaPost! Barrels from this past weekend.. I was a kid in a candy store out there.. It seemed as if every wave that came in was just perfectly shaped and had something neat to offer.

This post will be the second of three post from the weekend. I do have some more that I can't wait to show. But, first check these out. Let me know what you think! Vero Beach is potentially one of the best spots I have shot surf at, only time will tell, it may just become my favorite spot and these photos say why.

The above is a wide angle shot from saturday. I put that there as a comparison to the following 40mm shots I got. The difference really was in form though... The waves were good on the weekend, but perfectly shaped on Monday Morning.

Little amounts of perfection in every wave.

The above is yet another all time favorite. I love the color coming in from behind the wave. I think the water was super blue and when the sun hit it, it created a beautiful green. Awesome!

Above: Form & Perfection!

The above two images are instances of Focus. I love the focus right in the barrel of the wave on the larger barrel, and the close focus on the second smaller wave.

I'm digging this stretch of beach. I can't wait to share more! I can't wait to shoot here again.. I've gone out now a handful of times and its never been over 3ft. I know it can get better than this, and from what I hear it will get much better than this. Yay! This is going to be fun.

Thanks so much for checking in! Please share, there's a few options below to share on different Social platforms.. :)

Hi everyone!

Lil update on the swell we got here in Vero Beach this weekend. These shots are from yesterday morning's sesh at the break of dawn! I had a blast shooting the shorebreak along with Tanner Gordon and Donothan Williams.

The morning was full of color and some really, really fun waves. Feeling stoked and Blessed!

Barrels...

As Hoped For! by Nathaniel Harrington

Well, I have been Sea Dreaming for the past few weeks for this evening and it has happened! The family and I cruised down to Vero Beach this weekend and as expected there is a little swell in the water. :) Tomorrow and Sunday look really fun! I'm hoping that it does what is saying it will do... Its rare, but sometimes swell charts are accurate. I hope to score a few more barrels this weekend.

Check these out from this evening. I had about 20 min of light by the time I got to the beach, and thankfully everything came together for a fun little shoot sesh finished of with some really fun body surfing. Enjoy.

Crazy how the sun sets on the other side of the earth.. but those colors! They are still so beautiful!

Thanks for checking in.

More from Porter's back yard. by Nathaniel Harrington

I'm currently going through past images, gathering them up and getting ready to ship them off to a brand new Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.

Here's a couple I found that I haven't put out yet..  Stoked!

Central Cali Barrel. by Nathaniel Harrington

Central California Barrel bra. These mini A-frames were part of an epic trip to Northern California this last summer.

Ben Classen and I went out to this super fun beach break after an epic morning of driving through Big Sur. The waves were on the smaller side and the water was cold.. but central california produces images none the less.

Throw Back. by Nathaniel Harrington

Somethings I miss in life. As I look back at these days I smile knowing I pursued a career in snowboard photography as hard as I could for a long time, and it paid off! It tought me so much. I'm thankful and Stoked. With out these days I wouldn't be doing what I am now as well as I can.

PS. I do miss freezing my butt of on these frigid winter nights.
